Our Skid Row initiative was started about 4 years ago…

We originally started with a running group called Mission I’m Possible. We went out with the intent of reaching out to people in need in the Downtown Los Angeles Area. We made what we called ” love bags” Which included peanut butter jelly sandwiches, toilet paper, water, men and women’s hygiene products.

The love bags were created the Friday before our outreach in the evening at about 7pm and we would finish at 8:00 p.m. The next day, Saturday morning, at 9:00 a.m we would head out to Skid Row and hand out these bags to the less fortunate. We meet and greet people from skid row to give them encouragement to keep pushing on even though they were at their downest and most depressed time of life

Kit carried this tradition on when Movement runners started around the same time bringing the running community together to help the less fortunate. Our plan is to help as many people as we can in the time that we have here On Earth. The more people, the better and it just takes a little bit of time with a significant amount of people to help as many as people as possible. Any donation is helpful whether it is just a time, the dedication, or just helping out with making the sacrifice to help when you can.

Contact Kit John at for details on how you can donate to our Skid Row efforts. Thank you for your help in advance.
