Movement Runners was started 3 years ago by our founder, Kit John, to help new runners come out and run for the 1st time. The goal is to feel comfortable with the thought of running. New runners face many challenges including just getting started. We help new runners prepare for races such as 5K’s, 10K’s and full marathons. We have multiple members of our group that have completed races across the nation and continue to have the love of running.
This group was also started to bring people together to be active and also help with the community by giving back every 3rd Saturday of the month with the homeless in skid row. Our skid row effort is to help people that need our help in Downtown Los Angeles. We provide them with shoes, toilet paper, water, men and women hygiene products, tooth brush, tooth paste and any donations that you would like to give to help with our mission.
